A gentleman who has been collecting artifacts for the last 20 years or so took me to a huge camp on a recent evening and this is what we found in that short amount of time.
This is most likely the broken off tip of an arrowhead. These are a variety of choppers. It is interesting to see the variety in quality of craftsmanship.
These three are all the snapped off ends of knives or scrapers. Once again, notice the difference in quality.
Three knives. The top one is still sharp enough to cut with.
These pieces are all broken off from some larger tool. Even though they are broke, they are still nice examples of knapping.
Several scrapers. They are mostly end scrapers, except the top right one which is probably more of a side scraper.
This piece is a wedge which could be used for splitting small branches. I have tried to find more information on them, but have had trouble finding other examples online.
