One Evening at One BIG Camp

A gentleman who has been collecting artifacts for the last 20 years or so took me to a huge camp on a recent evening and this is what we found in that short amount of time.
This is most likely the broken off tip of an arrowhead.
These are a variety of choppers. It is interesting to see the variety in quality of craftsmanship.
These three are all the snapped off ends of knives or scrapers. Once again, notice the difference in quality.
Three knives. The top one is still sharp enough to cut with.
These pieces are all broken off from some larger tool. Even though they are broke, they are still nice examples of knapping.
Several scrapers. They are mostly end scrapers, except the top right one which is probably more of a side scraper.
This piece is a wedge which could be used for splitting small branches. I have tried to find more information on them, but have had trouble finding other examples online.

1936 Buffalo Nickel

Found this buffalo nickel in a field where an acreage used to be. It actually is the same field that I found the celt in.

Native American Artifacts

The first image here is of a basalt celt that probably was made 600 to 1200 years ago.
Here is a picture of it on edge.
The picture below is of a few piece of pottery where rope was used to make the impressions on the side, both for decoration and strength. The white piece is a piece of clam shell, which was often used for jewelry.
Here are two small, slightly damaged, scrapers picked up from a camp that I found. These would be used for jobs such as finishing animal hides for clothing.
This is point has been broken off from something like a knife. The craftsmanship in making very sharp knifes, sharp enough that it can still cut stuff today, is really impressive.
